The
International Mass Timber Conference 2026 once again confirmed what the
industry already feels—mass timber is no longer a niche, but a rapidly
scaling solution across North America.
Ledinek Engineering attended
with a strong delegation, showcasing together with Smarti Wood Scanning
Solutions our integrated approach to modern engineered wood production.
Across
numerous discussions, a clear message emerged: the market is actively
seeking higher levels of automation, reduced labor dependency, and
reliable, scalable CLT and glulam production systems.
A key milestone
during the event was the official confirmation by Spearhead, selecting
Ledinek Engineering as their equipment supplier—further strengthening
our position in the North American market.
In addition, we had the
opportunity to reconnect and engage with leading industry players,
building new partnerships and reinforcing existing ones.
Prior to the
conference, we visited our installation at Rigidply Rafters, where our
glulam solution has achieved approximately 40% cost
optimization—supported by highly positive client feedback.
The conference also highlighted the impressive scale of current projects, including mass timber applications in Google data centers and Amazon warehouse developments exceeding one million square feet—demonstrating the material’s transition into large-scale industrial use.
We look forward to continuing these discussions and supporting the next phase of growth in mass timber construction.
